-
We provide care primarily through telehealth visits across West Virginia, with concierge and IV services available in certain local areas.
-
We are a self-pay practice as of now. This allows us to keep services transparent, affordable, and accessible. Patients may request an itemized receipt if they wish to submit to their insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

For telehealth, make sure you have a quiet space, good Wi-Fi, and a device with a camera. For IV therapy, stay hydrated and have a light meal beforehand.
Telehealth & Urgent care
-
We can manage many non-emergency conditions such as colds, flu, sinus infections, strep, rashes, urinary tract infections, migraines, and more. If needed, prescriptions can be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy.
-
Yes — if medically appropriate. Your provider will only prescribe them when they are truly needed.
-
We primarily focus on urgent care, wellness, and weight management. Long-term prescription refills should be managed by your primary care provider.
-
If lab work or imaging is necessary, we’ll give you an order and direct you to a nearby partner facility.
-
We do not treat medical emergencies. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, sudden weakness, or other life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
IV hydration & Wellness
-
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream for faster absorption and immediate results. Our menu includes drips for hydration, energy, immunity, beauty, and recovery.
-
Most healthy adults are good candidates. A short health screening is performed before every infusion to ensure safety.
-
Most patients feel only a quick pinch when the IV is started. Our nurses are experienced and make comfort a priority.
-
Most infusions last 30–45 minutes.
-
Yes. Most drips don’t cause drowsiness, but if additional medications (such as nausea or migraine relief) are given, you may be advised to not drive for a few hours.
-
Frequency depends on your needs and goals. Some people book occasionally for hydration or recovery, while others schedule more regularly for ongoing wellness.
-
Yes. IV therapy at Sageview Medical is administered by licensed medical professionals in accordance with strict safety standards.
GLP-1 Medications
-
GLP-1 receptor agonists are FDA-approved medications that mimic a natural hormone to help regulate blood sugar, reduce appetite, and support sustainable weight loss. Common options include semaglutide (Ozempic®, Wegovy®) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro®, Zepbound®).
-
Yes. Due to frequent supply shortages of brand-name GLP-1 medications, compounded versions may be prescribed through accredited compounding pharmacies. These contain the same active ingredients (semaglutide or tirzepatide) and are prepared in customized dosages when appropriate.
-
Adults struggling with being overweight or obese and related health conditions may qualify. Eligibility is determined through a thorough medical evaluation to ensure safety and effectiveness.
-
These medications are generally not recommended for individuals with:
A personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN2)
A history of serious pancreatitis
Certain severe gastrointestinal conditions
-
Not at all — most patients find the injections simple and nearly painless. We provide clear instructions and support so you feel confident at home.
-
Some regain is possible if lifestyle changes aren’t maintained. We focus on building long-term healthy habits so results are sustainable.
-
Patients often see both significant weight loss and improved metabolic health when combining treatment with lifestyle changes. Results vary from person to person.
Payment and Policies
-
We accept major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and secure online payments.
-
Payment is required at the time of booking or service. Appointments cannot be confirmed without payment. Medications will also not be ordered through one of our partner pharmacies for GLP-1 medications until payment has been received.
-
Payments are non-refundable once a service has been provided. If there are billing concerns, our team will work with you to resolve them promptly. If your provider deems you ineligible for GLP-1 medications then your consult payment will be refunded or credited to another service.
-
Yes. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows will be billed in full.
-
If you are more than 10 minutes late for a telehealth visit, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and a fee may apply.
-
If a prescribed medication is on backorder or unavailable, we will discuss alternatives (including compounded options) with you. Payments for visits are not refunded in these cases, since provider time and evaluation have been completed.
-
