Understanding Your Care at Sageview Medical
Sageview Medical is a medical-first, function-focused practice offering IV therapy, weight management, regenerative treatments, and aesthetic services in Charleston, West Virginia.
This page answers the most common questions about our services, safety protocols, and what to expect. Every treatment we offer is guided by clinical assessment, not pre-set packages or trends.
Not every patient is a candidate for every service. Our role is to evaluate, guide, and recommend what is appropriate for you.
Your Questions, Answered. Our most common questions.
-
IV therapy can be safe when performed under proper medical guidance. Every patient completes a detailed screening before treatment to evaluate for conditions such as heart, kidney, or electrolyte concerns.
If anything raises concern, treatment may be modified or delayed. This is intentional. IV therapy should be appropriate for you, not just available.
-
GLP 1 medications are typically considered for patients with weight-related concerns or metabolic goals.
We review your medical history, medications, prior responses, and overall risk profile before prescribing. Not everyone is a candidate, and not everyone needs medication.
-
Results vary. Some patients experience steady, sustainable weight loss, while others progress more gradually.
The goal is not rapid weight loss. It is improved appetite control, reduced food noise, and long-term metabolic support.
-
Most med spas focus on treatments. We focus on clinical decision making.
Every service is evaluated, not assumed. Treatments are based on function, anatomy, and safety, not trends or volume.
-
When performed correctly, these treatments are generally safe. However, they require an understanding of anatomy, dosing, and risk management.
At Sageview Medical, treatment is conservative, intentional, and based on full facial assessment rather than isolated areas.
